Jacques Thélu, the Flogentec patent holder, is a research manager for the French national research agency (CNRS).
He has a Doctorate in Biochemistry (the bacterial oxidization of short-chain polyoxyethylenes ) as well as a PHD in Natural Science (specialty : the purification and characterization of exoantigens of Plasmodium falciparum obtained in vitro).
He is an expert in several wide-ranging domains including : developmental biology, molecular biology, protein biology, micro-surgery, the transplant of modified cells by transfection, progenital skin cells, molecular signals and in situ hybridization.
Dr Thélu has also acquired a wide range of industrial experience in the fields of automatisation and biotechnology with several blue chip organizations. He has filed and obtained patents for several innovative technologies including :
• A patented process outlining the procedure for vaccine production
• An innovative process for the automated production of P falciparum cell culture.
• A patent covering an innovative immunological test.
